Braemar: Australian made and imported at the same time
Both, and the split matters. Seeley International really does make evaporative cooling and ducted gas heating in South Australia. But the Braemar refrigerative air conditioning range is imported. 85 of its 94 models are registered as made in China, and 78 of the 94 name Gree's website as the product website.

Why isn't there a one-word answer?
Because both halves are true, and the one brand covers both. Seeley's a South Australian company that really does manufacture in Australia, and what it makes here is the evaporative coolers and the gas ducted heaters.
The refrigerative air conditioning sold under the same brand comes through a different supply chain. Every air conditioner sold in Australia has to be on the GEMS register (the national energy-rating register). It lists 85 of the 94 Braemar refrigerative registrations as China. On 78 models the product website named is gree.com, and on ten it's TCL's. All 94 also carry a Braemar web address.
How do you say it without getting it wrong?
Accurate: Seeley makes its evaporative cooling and gas ducted heating in South Australia, and its Braemar refrigerative range is imported.
Not accurate: "Braemar isn't Australian." That's wrong, it's unfair to a genuine Australian manufacturer, and it's the sort of statement that gets tested.
And remember the supplier fills in that country field on the register themselves, once for each registration family (a group of similar models), not for each unit. So "registered as" is the right phrasing, not "made in".
Why would you care?
Two reasons. Customers ask, and a precise answer builds more trust than an enthusiastic one. And parts, lead times and support tend to follow the supply chain, not the badge. That hits you after handover, not at the quote.
