The Visibility Scorecard

A 2-minute self-assessment for HVAC contractors. Find out whether potential customers can actually find you, trust you and contact you, before you ever pick up the phone.

  • 10 questions covering Google, reviews, your vehicle, your online presence and more
  • Score yourself out of 20
  • Find your single biggest gap, and what to do about it this week

How to score: for each statement, give yourself 0 (not at all), 1 (somewhat / inconsistent) or 2 (yes, definitely). We add up your total out of 20 and show you what it means.

Can customers actually find you?

Being good at your trade doesn't automatically generate work. If a customer can't find you, can't see evidence you're good, or can't easily get in touch, they'll call someone else, even if you'd have done a better job. Score yourself honestly on each line below.

What your score means

This isn't about being perfect. It's about knowing where the gaps are, because every gap is a customer choosing someone else before you've even had the chance to quote.

16-20
Visible & Winning

You're doing the fundamentals right. Focus on consistency. Keep the reviews, photos and follow-ups flowing so this doesn't slip.

11-15
On the Radar

The foundations are there, but there are real gaps costing you leads. A customer comparing you to a competitor might be choosing based on the gap, not the quality of your work.

6-10
Flying Under the Radar

Customers likely can't confirm you're good, reliable or even active before they call. You may be losing jobs to less capable competitors simply because they're easier to find and trust.

0-5
Invisible

This is urgent. If a potential customer went looking for you today, there'd be very little to find. You're relying entirely on people already knowing you exist.
